Dongfeng Design Institute Co., Ltd. (DFD) was established in Shiyan City, Hubei Province in 1973 with continuous operation and growth over the last three decades. Through dedication of its employees coupled with innovative management and technological advancement, DFD has provided a significant contribution to the Industrial and Automobile Industries of China. DFD is a diversified engineering company with Class A Certifications in feasibility studies, demographic studies, risk management analysis, project development, program management, project management, and specialized consultancy in the industrial, automotive and Construction Industries.
In 2000 the conglomerate moved its' headquarters to the Wuhan Economic Development Zone. This expansion move has given rise to greater innovation, research, interdevelopment of quality control, broadening of our customer base and increased diversification for our clientele. This timely move is responsible for a substantive increase in gross annual revenue in engineering services from 20 million RMB ($2.5 million USD) in 2000 to in excess of 140 million RMB ($12.0 million USD) in 2005. This controlled growth business plan has also given rise to the Company's expansion in program management, project management, construction management and EPC projects.
By international standards, the Company is modest in size. Our growth rate of 100% per year for the last 6 years identifies us as a viable, exciting, growing company with the potential for unlimited future expansion. The mission statement, financial goals and corporate strategy maintained and regularly updated is defined as unlimited but controlled to ensure financial reserves, employee base, management and corporate infrastructure stay ahead of growth.
